MS Stadium Capacity - capped at 25%

Tater-tot signed an Executive Order over the weekend that caps all arenas/stadiums to 25% maximum capacity.

Edited to add - this might be be that way when the season does open. Keith is expecting it to be 50% capacity.

If Fluke were still coach, then a 25% full stadium might equate to 100% occupancy!!!

Re: MS Stadium Capacity - capped at 25%

Wonder how many season ticket holders they will lose.

25% is only about 16K tickets.  I know there will be a couple of thousand for admin. staff, faculty, admin "guests", etc. etc. etc - they always come first.   And I don't think they can get away without allotting some to students.   So maybe 10K left after that.    And then the big givers will get some ridiculous number of tickets (just like they always get for bowl games, Omaha, etc).  So I figure that leaves around 5,000-8,000 tickets for the average foundation givers.   Going to be a lot of disappointed people.

Numbers look about right to me. I'm also thinking that they'll probably limit the number of tents in the Grove as well. I ordered a projector TV that'll be coming in on Thursday. I've been wanting to turn part of my garage into my own pub, so knowing I won't be going to games anytime soon, this mess has kind of sped up my plans.

Reading the interwebs, looks like there may be a vaccine entering the final stages of trials. It's MERS based and results have been really great so far.

Meridian, good luck with the pub! That sounds fantastic.

I saw that vaccine news - looks very promising.  But these days I worry someone like Bill Gates or some other super wealthy jackass with a political agenda will try to sabotage it.

Gates has done a remarkable job with their foundation. My opinion of him did a 180 after seeing everything that he and Melinda have done.

Meridian, hopefully Gates is a good person but I'm always leery of super rich people. I think most of all of them get the idea they are smarter than everyone else (but they really aren't), which is dangerous.

Gates has done a good job working on developing and potentially manufacturing the vaccine, but he is driven by his ego and monetary gains.  Some people label him as a globalist, so that is something that needs to be researched.  He does like to be in control and under the spotlight.  Whatever the case, lets just hope someone provides a vaccine and treatment plan without involving politics and greed.

Re: MS Stadium Capacity - capped at 25%

Gates is all about population control and is very involved in the UN TO push whatever his agenda may be.  My personal opinion is that he isn't some altruistic saint wanting to help the world.  As far as their foundation, he conveniently avoided paying billions in taxes by donating shares of Microsoft stock to the foundation.  I know that is what rich people do but you don't get sainted for donating your money to avoid taxes when you still have control over the money for your pet projects just bc it is moved to a charitable foundation.

Also, his wife appeared on an interview (maybe the today show) wearing an upside down cross necklace surrounded by rubies. There were lots of rumors about the couple before that interview but a lot of info pointing to satanic and occult symbolism

One last thing, his dad was friends with Soros and was on the board of planned parenthood.
