Perhaps Mutt will end up with a lot of egg on his face, have to pay a lot of out of pocket money in legal fees, and possibly be hit with a counter suit that will cause him aggravation and financial loss.  Mutt needs to face the fact that he his damaged goods and considered a washed up coach.  Houston created his own coaching coffin by having seasons his last two years at Ole Miss.  He is one conniving, loud mouthed, back stabbing, stupid, son of a bitch!!!

Actually we're getting exactly what we deserve.....  I recall when someone managed to slicker us into hiring him...I felt like the guy in the Vampire movie.....get of the garlic and the cross....  Then we thumped our chests and patted ourselves on the back as though we'd just won the lottery by getting such a GREAT deal and a HOMERUN hire of an OUTSTANDING coach.....and I felt as though I was in a nightmare that I couldn't wake up from.....Knowing that we'd see the same pattern at OM that Arkansas lived through...  He moves in to a team loaded with talent (Danny Ford left him excellent players after several year of top recruiting classes) and HN won big for a couple of years and once Ford's kids left the downward spiral began......Now....Insert Orgeron's recruits.....and indeed we saw the exact same thing happen at OM that we saw at Pig U......Win until the old coach's recruits were gone and then the program tanked...

But the brain trust that engineered that coaching extravaganza is still in charge, apparently.  Why is anyone surprised that we have a train wreck of a program now?  We have multiple attacks in progress not to mention a media blitz delighting in our situation.....  LEADERSHIP!  THAT is the key.....we simply don't have any and while all this is IMO the carnage that was Ole Miss football continues to stumble.....  

Now....we have a HC who no one else would hire as a HC.....Who hasn't even been an OC or DC and we're supposed to believe that's going to work out in the long run......yeah....gimme so of that.....I love koolaid.

As for strong leadership, Ole Miss is extremely lacking in this capacity.  The leadership wants to appease the few members of their country club group and does not understand the importance of reaching all fans.  This is a big reason why Ole Miss has been stuck in mediocrity for decades.

Any time you put progressives in charge the most you can hope for is mediocrity... Their very nature is to gravitate to the middle where everyone is equal.... The idea of EXCEPTIONAL....THE BEST.....is something they can't abide...and to a large degree because it requires excelling instead of simply getting by....see the post office....see most any major city where they're in charge.....same results...ineptitude.
