Ole Miss Hires Matt Lindsey as GM
Former Alabama staffer to be Lane Kiffin’s GM at Ole Miss
Matt Lindsey, a 2013 Alabama graduate, was the 2018 Football Scoop player personnel director of the year at South Carolina.
Lane Kiffin has landed one of the nation’s top personnel guys for a high-ranking position on his staff at Ole Miss.
South Carolina director of player personnel Matt Lindsey has been hired to be Kiffin’s general manager, AL.com has learned.
The Tuscaloosa native and former Alabama recruiting intern had been at South Carolina since 2017 and was the 2018 Football Scoop player personnel director of the year.
Aided by Lindsey, South Carolina put together top-25 recruiting classes each of the last three years, including a class ranked 18th nationally this year according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Prior to South Carolina, Lindsey spent three years with the Philadelphia Eagles.
