He decimated AZ after an in home visit. AZ was his only big offer. Seems we're reaching a bit.

Freeze had the ability to survey the college football landscape and come up with some real diamonds in the rough. Lane has this too, in my opinion. I don't think this is reaching at all.

He had a ton of attention, with offers like Texas Tech, Louisville, Memphis , Houston , Utah and probably 30 more.
He committed to Arizona early in June because of his close relationship with Kevin Sumlin and His staff that had recruited him since he was a 8th grader when the staff was at Texas A&M.
I would assume pretty strongly that if he would have kept his recruitment open thru the fall, more Power 5 offers would have came.
Many times you see some schools take different routes after a kid commits to a school.
But Randy recruited him when he was at UH in 2018 and the opportunity to play in the SEC was just too much to pass up.
I think it is a great pickup for the 2nd signing day for a new staff. Most power 5 schools are full by this point.
We shall see

On Rivals years ago there was a poster who was the father of an OM O-lineman. I remember him saying pretty much the same thing Rock did. His son had several big offers that weren’t listed on his sons Rivals page because I think he had committed to OM so early on and basically the recruiting services had stopped tracking him as closely as others.
