Sad state of affairs

with women's hoops ... in case you didn't hear, the team manager has become a starter.

I'm pretty cool with that as I was the basketball team's manager my sophomore year and leading scorer my senior year. But Yo still needs to go.

Re: Sad state of affairs

Yo seemed to have had big fanfare when she was first hired, but wow. Her program is really, really bad. I don't keep up with women's basketball, but I thought I remember reading online that she was recruiting some highly rated kids. Maybe that wasn't the case after all. But something obviously has to be done about that program.

Re: Sad state of affairs

It's women's basketball. Who cares? I actually mean this too. If you get rid of her, you have to pay a buyout and then deal with the fallout of firing her as she is popular with the team. Why heap coals on yourself? At the end of the day, I don't give 1 damn about women's basketball. If it is quiet and they aren't costing us more money than usual, let that ship sail.

Women's team was held to just 2pts the first half tonight. Yeah, Yo won't last long.
