Here's what I would do:

- Members of Congress should be paid by the state that they represent and the state should determine their pay.
- All elected offices should be limited to a single term.
- Federal bills should be voted on by state legislatures and that winning vote should be handed to the Congress via the state reps.


Honestly, if I had my way, Congress and most of the Federal government would be abolished. More and more, this government treats us adults as children and you see full well how they act themselves. They don't know better than me about anything.
