BREAKING: Ole Miss DL coach, Freddie Roach, will be staying at Ole Miss!
Roach turned down the New York Giants DL job and will continue to serve as DL coach
This is huge. Hopefully now we can get back in the game for guys like McKinnley Jackson.

Roach is also being tagged as the Assistant Head Coach. I find that interesting. Do y'all think this was a Lane decision or administration?

We negotiated that deal just stupidly! How much more will he get now than is we simply retained him? Jackson is still slated to LSU next weekend and TAM the following as of this typing.

I have a feeling the deal was there for him in the beginning, he had a hard decision and finally decided to stay.

Looks like Bama is after Roach to join their staff. About time for Kiffin to tell him to shit of get off the pot. He flirted with the Giants, ok. But then agreed to stay. Right in the middle of the hot part of recruiting for this new staff.

If you haven't noticed, Jackson is now a Bama Lean in the crystal ball. Anyone smell something? Jackson pic is on Bama front page regarding a return visit. Also Marcus Hederson now has a visit sched to Bama. Geuss we're pauying Roach to recruit for Bama out f Oxford.Sweet!

If true, then Roach is showing his character. His flirting with the Giants cost is a big-time recruit, and if he's talking to Bama after getting that new contact at Ole Miss, then he obviously isn't focused on doing his job.

Seemed a bit odd Jackson cancelled on us when Roach was going to NY but now with Bama rumor he's now lining up a visit there. I worry that Clowney may have not signed over the weekend due to some "change of plans".

This just didn’t happen with us overnight. Roach has played us deliberately. Bama is his alma mater, and he wants to get back there. I have confidence Kiffin will place him with somebody as good or better.

Didn’t Luke/Roach miss on a few DT’s last year? I recall he said emphasis would be on recruiting DL this year. Well, where are they???
