continue Mullen's OM trash talk? A friend sent me the following: "In typical redneck mindset of the institution down south, newly hired coach, Mike Leach, wasted little time to commence his trash talk toward Ole Miss in his introductory press conference, 'I know you're not supposed to like anything from Ole Miss. I like playing against crummy coaches more than I do good coaches.'" Has anyone seen this anywhere?

That quote was taken way out of context and was a mix of several things said. Dennis Dodd is the one that is trying to start that crap. Here's the two quotes:
“I’ve know Lane for a long time,” Leach said. “I’ve actually known Lane when he was a GA for Pete Carroll (at Southern California). I’ve always like Lane, and I know you’re not supposed to like anything from Ole Miss, but you know, I’ve always liked him, kind of an entertaining guy.”
“I like playing against crummy coaches better than really good ones. But you know, as I look around these conferences, there’s no hiding from good coaches. You’re going to run into good coaches. You’re going to have to fight like crazy in every conference you are in with regard to the quality of some of these coaches.”
Dodd got lit up on Twitter for trying to start crap.

It'd be great if didn't follow the Dumb dog mentality. It would piss them off, which of course suits me.

I like leach. He is a fun dude to follow. However I hope he fails at state. I hope his "ship" has sailed and he state flounders over the next few years until they have to let him go. I hope he fails to recruit and I hope lane waxes his rear every year. It is one thing to try and destroy a program by outworking and out performing them. it is another to try to work behind the scenes to destroy a program like state did with OM. So they can gth

The bright spot is that we forced them to ante up a mill and a half more than they would for a coach plus they have JoMo to pay off. They'll be passing the ol hat.
