looks like the handling of the Gay/Schrader assault has maybe finally done Moorehead in. Hearing that Moorehead is going to be out. Nook for them to hire Billy Napier from ULL as the next HC.
Truthfully , he would have been out after the Egg Bowl except for the dog pissing deal that kept him his job. When OM fired Luke that gave them a little breather thinking they could get momentum in recruiting. Well Om did the unthinkable and went and hired Killin and blu the boors off the media and msu started thinking how can we still get rid of Moorehead and not make it look like a reaction of OM hiring Lane. looks like Moorhead has given them their out. I think Moorehead has wanted out anyway, but wanted to get paid his contract.

Moo U will copy cat whatever Ole Miss does. They were looking for an out with Moorehead. It would be good if the cows get another coordinator. Napier would be a good hire for them. The cows just cannot stand being little brother. They will do whatever big brother does to keep up with them. It is time for karma to give them payback for the Ole Miss/Freeze/NCAA/Rosebutt shenagans.

What's going to happen to those new recruits? They're going to feel really betrayed.

You can be assured that Moo U was squirming when Ole Miss hired Kiffin. They knew they had to do something to keep up with the Rebels. The cows were wanting to fire Moorehead and now they feel they can do it. It would be great if Napier turned them down.

I'm bettiing Morehaed stays.

We better hope he stays and they don't hire CHF. THAT my frowns will be devastating. If we can give SLK a s second chance they can play off f that and give CHF one. We won't like that.

Moorehead needs another year to work with his recruits. I'd take Kiffin over Freeze any day. Freeze is a good coach, but he does not have the connections to hire a top notch staff and his offense can become one dimensional. Anyway, Freeze would probably not be accepted at Moo U because he would be considered an Ole Miss through away.

Hopefully you're right. Moorhead showed CML all about Mississippi Made by being some yankee who raided the state. Kudos to his recruiting.

If State fires Moorhead, watch their recruits be released from their commitment and jump elsewhere. This would be a really weird time to fire the guy at this point.

One thing to understand about the recruiting the state of Mississippi is that many of the high school players are coached by Miss. State alumni. Apparently Ole Miss does not offer the type of degree necessary to graduate coaches and teachers. This results in the majority of coaches and teachers in the state of Mississippi being Miss. State graduates. As a result they are going to be pro active Miss. State and could influence the allegiance of their players.
In addition many of these recruits can related more to Miss. State than to Ole Miss. If you go to many places around the state of Mississippi, you will see lots of Miss. State license plates and decals. A good number of students at Miss. State are from Mississippi and a high number of students at Ole Miss are out of state. These out of state students graduate and generally return to their state of residence, thus, they do not stay in Mississippi and contribute to the culture of the state.
Miss. State does a much better job of recruiting students than Ole Miss. They roll out the red carpet for high school seniors, whereas Ole Miss has the attitude that you should just go to school here. I have seen this exact scenario when I was in high school and also throughout the past decade as my friends' children were recruited to go to college.
Hopefully Ole Miss will get the necessary degree in order to graduate more coaches into the high school ranks. Ole Miss needs to dominate this area. Of course, the IHL will probably try to block it, but this is an area, in addition to recruiting in state students, needs to be addressed and resolved.
