Pretty pathetic how coach Smith was treated.

This seems like over zealous parent interference. In addition this player recruited more players to sway the investigation. The player's action show how quickly someone with a bad attitude can ruin a team. The player should have been dismissed from the team and not the coach. It is too easy for someone to scream sexual harassment in today's society without giving solid proof of the matter. Hopefully this player and her parents will be exposed for the vindictive frauds they truly are.

I hope the parents will get a lawyer and get them out of their letters on intent. No matter if you are a fan or alumni, this kind of deal cant be allowed. Pressure has to be put on Johnson to be fired. The Girls should all boycott playing. If they have to , forfeit the year. I know kids only have so much time to play, but they might as well learn now to stand up for something they believe in. They are not risking some lucrative pro careers. Either boycott or transfer.

Johnson absolutely needs to be fired. Sounded like the parent was basically trying to blackmail Coach Smith. I'm hoping Keith really does take action about this. And I agree - the kids that signed on should be allowed to leave without restriction.
I hate it for that kid, but I hope the parent's name comes out. Smith was a good man, and it's a shame this has happened to him.

I’ve been following this, and there’s some unanswered questions. I didn’t take that magazine article as gospel. I’m not the only one who feels that way. I want to know more before I come to a final judgment on what happened. I’m not anti-Mike Smith or pro-Lynette Johnson. I just want ALL the facts. They’re not out there yet.

I'd say a bit of transparency is lacking -- why call something an audit when it's really an investigation?
The allegation reminds me of one leveled at me when I was a battalion executive officer and had a female operations officer who worked directly for me. I had another captain who was good, but didn't like to be bothered by the clock ... so he basically gets fired and then complains to the IG that I was having an affair with my operations officer and the battalion commander knew about it and didn't do any thing about it. She went up to the higher headquarters IG and one of the questions she as asked was, "have you ever called Major Childers anything other than his name and rank." Her answer was, "yes sir, I sure did. But never to his face."
