From what I have heard Strong is an unlikely candidate, from his past tenure at OM. His wife wasn't a happy camper.

Strong seems to be overrated and has been a bad coach at his last two jobs. Pete Golding would be a decent hire, but would certainly be an expensive hire, especially if you kept MacIntyre on staff or even paid his buyout. The DC hire will be an interesting one.

Strong has muffed his last 2-3 opportunities. With keep an improving Mac or try new blood.

Too bad you can't compare stats with the same quality of athletes. Each DC listed above had much more talent than OM. In addition, we were much improved from the year before with Mac. I would probably keep Mac, and give him some good assistants, and hopefully we can rope in some DL talent before February.

Mac had a veteran DL and developed the LB's while the backfield was swimming. I like MM byt wish he's been more visible recruiting this year.
