OG Chris Morris to A&M
Had a shot late at flipping him, but he stuck with his A&M commitment.

Ole Miss could have used Chris Morris to help with the perpetual rebuild of their OL.

My angst is for those who put him there. He wasnt qualified, not his fault, just the only candidate we wouldn't have to pay moving expenses on.

There is no doubt that Luke was a bad hire, but as a result of his inability to coach, he was fired at a time where Ole Miss could get Lane Kiffin. Now the jury is still out on Kiffin, but I think he wants to prove something and be successful. He knows the potential of Ole Miss due to his brother, Chris, having been here. Kiffin surely has built a buzz and created more positive publicity for Ole Miss in a few weeks than the school had in the past several years. Now fans can only give support and hope for success.

Morris is the kind of kid that OM will get in the future. This kid's recruitment should have been a OM/Tenn battle from the start. If Lane and Clements would have had a year to recruit him, he would be a Rebel.
My guys at A&M would have never gotten far in the door. A&M had a in with A&M OC Darrell Dickey who was the OC at Memphis St ( sorry, I just can't call them U of M LOL) for 6 years before coming to A&M last year with Jimbo.
People have reported that Clements had recruited Morris for several years at F$U. Not so. Clements was only at F$U from the end of Feb this year( 2019), so less than a year. He was a UH before that and while I am sure Randy knew of him, Morris wasnt listening to and UH recruitment.
Luke had years as the OL coach and HC and Bicknell ( who I never thought highly of, I watched him run the program in the ground that Gary Crowton had kept on par, really a little above par than the HC I worked for at La Tech Joe Raymond Peace). Bicknell used the " I was a OL for Doug Flutie" card for as long as he could. Anyway. Bicknell stunk up recruiting Morris also.
The Morris family has all kinds of connections and fandom with Ole Miss and Luke and Bicknell let his get away.
