Ole Miss appears to be bound and determined to add a running back to its 2020 class.
The Rebels issued a pair of offers to 2020 running backs on Sunday, including one who is currently committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Ole Miss offered Port Orange, Fla., (Spruce Creek High School) running backMarvin Scott, who has been committed to Nebraska since late August. The Rebels also pulled the trigger on four-star running back Henry Parrish, who decommitted from Pitt last week. Parrish is out of Columbus High in Miami, Fla.
Of note is the fact that both offers were rolled out after former 2020 Ole Miss running back commit Kentrel Bullock decided not to take his official visit to Oxford this weekend.
The 5-9, 203-pound Scott is a three-star prospect rated as the nation's No. 55 running back by the industry-generated 247Sports Composite index. The 5-10, 183-pound Parrish is rated as the nation's No. 24 running back per the 247Sports Composite index.
Newly-hired Ole Miss running backs coach Kevin Smith is the primary recruiter for both players.
