Saw a tweet from an FAU Owl's nest account saying Kiffin is bringing his strength and conditioning coach with him.

Great move to do so!

It's at least a sign he pays attention to second level items of importance.

I understand the S&C coach Kiffin is bringing from FAU was previously with him at Bama.

Wilson Love is supposed to be coming to Oxford with Coach Kiffin today. He was the asst HC and head of strength and conditioning at FAU. He worked w/Kiffin as an asst strength and conditioning coach when Kiffin was Saban's OC. He was a part of four SECC teams as a player and as an assistant at Bama including NCs in 2011, 2012 and 2015.

WILSON LOVE
TITLE Assistant Head Football Coach/Head Strength & Conditioning/Football
At FAU
Wilson Love joined Florida Atlantic University's staff in December of 2016 as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for football. Love began setting up his process for developing FAU's football team while continuing to work with Alabama for its 2016 national championship run. To a person, the Owls thrived under Love and the “Fourth Quarter” program. Many players gave credit to Love and their workouts for preparing them to finish in the fourth. Following the championship season, Love was elevated to FAU’s Assistant Head Coach and Head Football Strength and Conditioning Coach.
At Alabama
Love came to FAU after serving two seasons, 2015 and 2016, as an assistant football strength and conditioning coach at Alabama. The Tide captured the NCAA National Championship in 2015 and played for the title in 2016. Love worked under the direction of highly-acclaimed Strength and Conditioning Coach Scott Cochran.Love's first season as a strength and conditioning coach provided him the opportunity to work with Ryan Kelly, a 2016 first round draft pick by the Indianapolis Colts, and second rounders Jarran Reed, who was taken by Seattle and Detroit Lions' defensive end A'Shawn Robinson.Prior to his position as a strength and conditioning coach, Love served one year as a defensive graduate assistant (2014). The one-year stint provided the Alabama native the opportunity to work with the Tide's defensive line while being mentored by Head Coach Nick Saban and Defensive Coordinator Kirby Smart. The 2014 season, his first as a coach, Alabama captured the SEC Championship.
Collegiate Playing Career
Love, who is a 2013 graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Commerce and Business Administration, was a three-time All-SEC Academic selection. The defensive end was a 2010 Alabama signee from Mountain Brook High School. In total, Love has been a part of four SEC Championships (2012, 2014, 2015, 2016), five SEC Divisional Championships (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016) and three National Championships (2011, 2012, and 2015) teams as a player, graduate assistant or as strength and conditioning coach.

Hopefully, Paul Jackson will be leaving the program. He has been a leach and a left over from Freeze's hires. S&C has been a weak point in the program most of the years Jackson was in charge. There are too many injuries and this is an indirect correlation back to the S&C program.

Every game, I look across to the other side and most every game, our guys look less fit, not as ripped and not as muscular. Jackson is 5 years past due
