Good morning Rebels!

It was nice waking up and actually being excited about the future of the football program. It's been years since I've been able to say that.

Re: Good morning Rebels!

Yes, I agree.  I was at a point where I was ready to find another team, although it would be hard to pull against Ole Miss.  My choices were UTK, LSU, or Va Tech.  Hopefully Ole Miss will make a good decision this time, but the jury is still out due to past hiring practices.

For sure but it's like getting married. You are convinced when yo say I do, but somewhere on down the line, you have reason for pause and say, enough is enough.

It is an amazing feeling.  I all but had given up hope because most of the fan base knew Luke was going to burn down the program despite his good intentions and the administration was set to give him all the gas he needed.

I would still like to know the details which we will never get the full story, but I assume it was mostly about the big dollar donors inside and outside the athletic circles that demanded it.  When Carter saw that the projected revenue s continue to crater and combine the donation withdrawals it made it a choice that was unavoidable.

I am happy it happened but state was a bad team that we allowed to keep their bowl streak alive.  Their instate recruiting is killing us and when you lose the egg in November you pretty much guarantee we lose again in February.

Hopefully we get a new coach this week per the speculation and we get solidify the class best we can during the early  signing period

Had we kept Luke next season, it would have been so so so much worse. I am happy today because there is hope for success.

Re: Good morning Rebels!

I am considering getting my club seats back. I did not renew them this year but if we get the right coach I may get them for next season. Still undecided because mentally I’ve moved on from spending Saturdays there but if I am at least thinking about it then I’m sure that many others are as well.

Re: Good morning Rebels!

I had season tickets for 40 + years, but quit getting them 3 years ago.  May consider renewing if we hire the right coach.
