So much for the GOB network that I've heard about endlessly the past 3 + years were not so invested in Luke after all.

When Moore acted like a dog peeing on the field, many of these GOBs were deeply embarrassed. They soon realized that Luke was not a disciplinarian or a leader of the team. It is amazing the number of people who told me they were embarrassed by this action.

I really don’t know how else you can actually explain hiring Like in the first place. Maybe things had just gotten so bad that even they couldn’t cover for Luke’s incompetence anymore.

Some of my OM family members told me that Moore peeing deal was bad enough, but him being allowed back on the field for the kickoff was a slap in the face. Then he was walking around after the game with that belt over his shoulder like he had not only done nothing wrong, but like he was the player of the game. And nothing was said or done about him getting the penalty, like someone snatching that belt off his shoulder on the sideline or a coach pulling him off the field on that kickoff or again a coach snatching that belt off his shoulder before he went on the field to shake hands. Just a lack of awareness and coaching by ANYONE on the staff.
I couldn;t believe once of his teammates didnt snatch that off his shoulder.

I don't remember anything being said when D.K. did the same thing in 2017. Same coach, same penalty. Did we really think it would be any different the second time around? The only difference is the score at the time of the penalty.

The Dk and Moore penalty is one thing, but remember speaks showed his butt and got kicked out of the game. In turn, state started moving the ball and we almost lost the game.
Point is, Luke did not know how coach a team into being physical and execute with 100% effort, only with unhinged emotions. That is when you get the penalty and the absent minded plays.

I don't know of anyone whose opinion I respect, was outraged by Moore. Of course, dumb, sophomoric, doesn't reflect on him well and whatever. I'm not a coach, but I can imagine how tough it is to fire the kids up with all the hype necessary for them to run through walls and then be a able to instantly cut that enthusiasm when they make a good play and calm down. The animosity between the two teams/schools is intense. Bad judgement yes, but for action there is a reaction and the Luke haters should react a monument of Moore dog peeing, to replace the Confederate soldier. They got what they wanted Luke gone and I concur that he was not taking us in the right direction fast enough.
