I had nothing for or against Luke there than losing. That's not what we need to be doing. No one will agree on the choice, regardless, but he will need a chance and the support of all, especially after this fiasco hire. I'm not sure a quality guy will apply after this last 3 years.

Sounds exactly like a crew that would imitate a dog peeing and cause us to miss the ensuing extra point. This is what happens when there is no leadership. These players don’t care about OM. They care about themselves and Luke gave them free reign. Tail wagging the dog.

Players are generally protective of their coach and would certainly be emotional. Hire a winner and their attitude will change.

Reasonable response, but once cooler heads prevail and they realize that they really have nowhere to go and if they were to leave, 99% of them would have to sit out a year, 98% of them will be back. Especially when they meet and talk to whomever the new coach is. The thing is, the new coaching staff will most likely encourage many, many of them to find a new home this spring.
