Strong had a good run at Louisville with the help of Lamar Jackson at QB. Charlie lost at Texas and also at USF. Perhaps he is a better position coach than he is a head coach.

It seems more hot commodity coordinators turn HC end up falling short more times than not. Seems coaches make more emotionally driven moves based on money rather than fit. Guess it depends on what you are looking for. Get that big paycheck and if it fails you just go back to the smaller big paycheck.
Not many wish list coaches we wanted have panned out it seems.

spot on mob. Dabo and Nick are the only 2 who have had bankable records, the rest are ebb and flow. We couldn't wait to run O off now his likely going to the big show but give him 3 more and see.
