Luke Ready for Open

Matt Luke was extremely excited to have Open back on the Ole Miss schedule.  Luke exclaimed that the Rebel has a solid game plan and have practiced hard this week.

"We beat them last time.  It was a signature win for the team.  We are ready to take it to them again," said Luke.  "We know they have some trick plays and we'll be ready."

Luke plans to fire up the bus midway through the 4th quarter so he and the team can leave quickly to get to the all you can eat buffet."

This game will have a special ceremony at the half to honor new Chancellor Slick Boyce and newly annointed AD, Yessir Carter.

Re: Luke Ready for Open

I hope State beats the hell out of us, to be honest. Luke has weaseled his pathetic, ignorant ass into enough money. I think we'll win, to be honest. But I sure as hell will be cheering against any Luke team from this point forward.

Re: Luke Ready for Open

I don’t share the confidence some seem to have that we’ll beat MSU. We are playing in their house with a number of freshmen who have never faced the cowbells. Joe Moorhead knows he’s lost the support of a lot of the MSU fan base, and a win over Ole Miss (which would also make MSU bowl eligible) would help quiet the criticism. It’s certainly a winnable game, but our players have to step up.

Re: Luke Ready for Open

You're right Semper, our players will have to step up.  Some of our coaches know only one way to step and that unfortunately is backward.
