That would be par for the course and he would have some real motivation to play.  Now why could Fluke the Great not keep him in Oxford?  Would a coach not do what he could to keep someone on the team?  Was he not really a good player?  It is ironic that these Freshmen come in thinking they should start.  It is generally tough making the transition from HS football to college football, especially SEC college football.
 

Well, when you are a decent rated QB out of high school and you are warming the bench while watching two other young QBs that both suck get to play, I would think that would go a long way to tell you that the coaching staff is not ever going to give you a chance.

Everything about Fluke is suspect.  Any good school or AD would have fired him this year.  Coach O was fired in three years for results similar to Fluke.  By the way 6th (Western) is last place.  Thank you, Luke for really making Ole Miss football horrible and not fun anymore.

Matt Luke should go down in the Ole Miss books are one of the worst coaches in Ole Miss history.  There is nothing that will change or deny his inability to be an effective coach.  Given a 4th year will yield little to no improvements.
