The guy isn't making much at UAB but is an excellent coach. Give him the resources at Ole Miss, and he'd be able to turn things around pretty quickly.

That's not the Ole Miss way. Letting Luke drag Ole Miss through the gutter for years is far worse than any NCAA penalty. WAOM.

I think you are right. He would be a great fit.
On another note, I'm kind of getting tired of reading comment after comment about how Luke will be at Ole Miss forever because of the GOBs. My mom is well connected in Oxford and she doesn't know anybody that wants to keep Luke. I'm not sure where these pro-Luke people are other than some old ladies on Facebook.

Most anyone would be better than Luke. The problem is that no one has vision or insight. To make the team grow and be competitive, you need a long term plan that includes hiring a qualified coach. Luke is not qualified.

I watched a recent coaches show from Oxford and it didn't appear to be very well attended as opposed to past versions.
