Rich Rod is obviously past his prime...

His play calling against A&M was not only bad, but inexplicably bizarre. He is a now a liability to our football program.

I don’t totally disagree - but it starts at the top. If it weren’t for Chad Morris and Derek Mason, Luke would be the 14th best coach in a 14 team league.

I haven't liked RR's play calling from the start.  Tonight was probably the worst,

Re: Rich Rod is obviously past his prime...

Maybe there is a reason by Rich Rodriguez has been fired from most of his head coaching jobs.

West Virginia - left for Michigan
Michigan - FIRED
Arizona - FIRED

Rodriguez had a really good run while at West Virginia and probably never should have left Morgantown.  He is mediocre at best so he is a good fit for a mediocre Ole Miss team.

I said this on Nafoom and they blasted me for not knowing shit about football. Rich Rod sucks and has for a long time.

You talking about the poster who said MSU is trying to run Moorhead out so they can replace him with Rich Rodriguez? I thought at first he was trying to be funny.

Re: Rich Rod is obviously past his prime...

At Ole Miss we’ve had some coaches who squandered good, capable talent with poor game planning and play calling. However, I never expected to see that with Rich Rodriguez. I posted before the season that I believed he and Mike MacIntyre, with their experience, would be able to maximize the strengths of our players and minimize their weaknesses. I think for most part Mac has done that on defense. Rich Rod, unfortunately, is a different story. I’m no football expert by any means, but even I could see how poor and sometimes even bizarre was our offensive play calling against A&M. Rich Rod is either past his prime, or the game has passed hm by. He is now, regrettably, a liability to our football team.

Re: Rich Rod is obviously past his prime...

After a night’s sleep and working on hour two at the gym I can honestly say I have never been so disparaged as a fan than right now.  A puppet Chancellor, no AD, no leadership from our head coach and a large portion of the fan base that seems to think we are progressing.

Just no urgency whatsoever. As long as everyone is having fun and seeing old friends taking photos together. It seems like that's all that matters.
