I didn't see anyone on the candidate list that was remotely qualified.
Robert Robbins would have been an excellent choice and the provost at Auburn would have been fine too

Robbins had some questionable dealings hiring a crony who's was not qualified for some 875,000 job plus some oversight issues. He wasnt too squeaky for this preferring squeaky.

Neither of those reasons for not hiring Robbins are reasons FOR hiring Boyce. He's ridiculously unqualified

agree with that statement, but neither was Hugh Freeze qualified for HC. He did great IMHO in the job just not so much in personal life.

Boyce was not a forerunner or a candidate for Chancellor. Suddenly he appeared out of nowhere and was given the job.
Bjork was not a forerunner or a candidate for Athletic Director. Suddenly he appeared out of nowhere and was given the job.
Does anyone see a pattern here?

Yeah Freeze did. I never gave Lambeth and Ark st much validity. Boyce has about the same, but we will be giving him a shot.
