I'm hearing that the land shark won the rigged vote....and that the university has already trademarked land shark and fins up......So that would seem to indicate that the recent vote was a ruse to imply land shark is the choice of the students.... Why am I not surprised? The same sleaze that hid behind a damn stick ban runs another scam as they're too cowardly to shoulder the ownership of their handiwork ..... Why do I smell lawyers at work?

The Great Southern Cleansing is in motion. "Rebels" is targeted as is the state flag. It's only a matter of time.

Yup and it's not only "Southern Cleansing"...Just a few weeks ago the big target was southern Confederate monuments...now it has moved on to kneeling to disrespect the flag and national anthem..... Same crew behind both....and the ultimate goal is the constitution....they want to rewrite it and turn us into Venezuela, Cuba or some other Central American 3rd world hell hole......IOW....they want a socialist or communist country to replace a culture unlike any the world has ever witnessed......
They want everything to be 'fair...equal'. Since they can't make it in this country they want to lower everyone else to their level so that we can all suffer in the same misery and they won't have to look at rich fat cats in envy. That way they're not held accountable for their actions that resulted in failure because no one else will be any better off than they are. These are the slime of the earth and they have managed to infiltrate our institutions, media, and entertainment industry to indoctrinate enough useful idiots to the point they now think it's their time.....this will get MUCH worse until the backbone of this country is restored.....
Look at OM as a micro case.....we are being re-branded into something that doesn't resemble the school I attended. Same model in play: tear down the old identity and rebuild in a new image/identity.

I watched the last installment of the Ken Burns saga on Vietnam. In it race relations in the armed forces during the war was discussed. They made a point of showing pictures of whites flying the confederate flag on tanks, jeeps, and in camps. They interviewed many blacks about white bias in camps but not in the field. They never showed the black power flag flying anywhere.
I know for a fact that one flew in the marine camp in Danang and a second flew in an army camp in Vung Tau.
Guess no one filmed it or took pictures.

I'm the most conservative person you will ever meet. We can't get rid of our history for multiple reasons. But it is past time for Rebels to go for our mascot. That isn't history, that is more public relations type stuff. We have had terrible PR for my whole life and it's time to start moving forward. Personally, I think the landshark is very unique and will be "cool" with recruits. Should have gone with Landshark instead of black bear years ago. We need to rip this dang bandaid off and start moving forward.
