Don't y'all dare suggest that MSU is possibly involved in any shady dealings. Ole Miss, certainly, but Hail State? No friggin' way. They are having to turn down recruits in every sport. Everybody wants to be a part of what is going on in StarkVegas!
With the FBI and the Justice Dept. involved, any school with an Adidas basketball relationship should be concerned. This is not the NCAA where Sankey and Templeton can run interference.
When unemployed Ben Howland was hired by MSU, there was a lot of smoke that Adidas had "engineered" the hire. Right after Howland was hired, MSU's recruiting vastly improved almost overnight. There was talk of "helpful" Adidas and AAU connections.
I'm not predicting what will happen in MSU's case, but it certainly bears watching.

You watch, this is going to lead to some form of "legalized" pay-to-play. They're never going to stop the flow of money. Much like the legalization of Mari-Jane. You can't beat it, so might as well legalize it and make money off of it thru taxation. It's likely going to spill over to football too. What's really going on, if the NCAA really cared to uncover, will make the charges again us look like a sidewalk marbles shoot.

I'm hoping that they expand their investigation into football. If they do, the NCAA will come crashing down. Programs like Alabama would be exposed for the dirty, cheating programs that they are. Amazing how all of their players are suddenly riding around in brand new vehicles and not a peep is said. Saban has been protected by Emmert for years.
