This has been a complete turnaround by MacIntyre. Dude has done a remarkable job. (and we just have up a long pass)

All I know is the defense actually looked like they attacked people tonight. Still blew a lot of assignments and arm tackling is still there but getting better. Positive night, just get better. I hope Liuke does not get overly excited and cancels practice and sends the team to a popsicle Buffett

He shows what can happen if you have a good coach.

Remarkable turnaround from last year, however, still not there yet! I hold my breath every time we face 3rd and long.

I second that emotion. I'd just about rather have someone with 3rd and four rather than 3rd and 14.

Another example of upgraded play by having a better coach is Mack Brown at North Carolina. North Carolina has two decent wins this year when they are underdogs. In week 1 they beat South Carolina 24-20 and in week 2 they beat Miami 28-25. Next week they play Wake Forest and then the following week NC plays Appalachian State. The Tarheels could be 4-0 headed into a matchup with Clemson. If Fedora was still there, NC probably would have lost against SC and Miami. It is true that a coach makes the difference.

Been doing that for 50+ years
