    How many fans show up this weekend?

    How many fans do you think will show up in the stadium this weekend? Any thoughts?

    I believe we'll have about 48,000 to actually show this first weekend because it is an SEC game. But if we lose, we'll average about 40,000 for the rest of the year.

    I have posted this on other boards but my math says around 25,000. 

    Here is my logic:
    We sold around 30,000 season ticket type packages. This number includes regular season tickets, students, and the flex packages, which may or may not apply to the Arkansas game.
    We will have some people not show up. I am guessing 8,000 no shows. 
    Add around 3,000 fans from Arkansas and we should have about 25,000. A lot of people are saying around 50,000 but that would include at least 20,000 walk-up buyers. I don't think we will have 20,000 walk-up ticket buyers. I don't see how we can be anywhere close to 50,000.

    Did they ever announce how many season tickets were sold? Last I heard they said they were “on track” for 30K but I don’t remember hearing/reading any more after that.

    I'm guessing about 30-35k in the stands. They'll announce a ridiculous number, but it'll be a sad showing. Luke has hardly any fan support left - the kool aid drinkers have given up, for the most part. When a fanbase becomes as apathetic as this one has become, there's no winning them back without changing the HC.

    I'm just guessing 1st SEC game and fans with some HOPE left and including about 6,000 Arkansas fans. I don't relish seeing the stadium half filled but you're probably right with about 30-35000. 

    I look for the student section to be empty by half-time.

    It's at night, SEC game, first home game.. Those factors will help the attendance. I'm guessing 50k.
