If that's the case, then it's gonna be ugly for us.

"Fineslime" is wrong! There isn't enough testosterone at OM to go whip a 90 year old grandma much less get a 'hard on' and go "scorched earth"..... We'll tuck our tails and take our 'medicine'....... We gots da 'grobe' dontcha know!

I may be neck deep in the kool aid but I think its just the opposite. I think the blowback is going to come from the moou fanbase when Ole Miss isn't obliterated to the extent their "leaders" have been promising for years.
I think the real fear is that the game in Starkville could be a total meltdown by their fans and that is the safety issue. They already hate us with every fiber of their being. Having news dropped on them prior to that game that we "got away" would send many, if not all of them, spiraling. Compound that with the increasingly louder drumbeats that they may have created their own investigation into their program and the potentially never ending string of civil suits our boosters could file it doesn't paint a pretty picture for their fans who are aware of that potential possibility.

Bow....I just don't see it....UNLESS we were to get off scott free.....and I don't see that happening. The NCAA can't afford to have egg on their face and, at a very minimum, will accept our STUPID self-imposed penalties.... b
They will be giddy to thump us in the Eggbowl....and the frenzy that would generate post-game could result in some collateral damage to any OM fan venturing into that hell hole.

The only way Finebaum could know this is if the NCAA had leaked this to him or to another person who then shared the info with him. It is the responsibility of the host school (in this case MSU) to provide a safe game day environment. I hope the folks in charge at MSU are aware of that. Mullen and the players certainly are not.

Would that be the same brain trust that allows fans to carry weapons in the form of cowbells on 'clubs'?

The fact only bad or unpleasant information keeps getting rolled out to media figureheads is disgusting and is adding punitive Damage to our program and if this was any other program it would have already been in court
The sec has failed or worse, is working with the ncaa to hurt ole miss. This is going to be really bad or it is going to be lighter than we expected. This plays out the less likely it’s going to be anything close to normal once the end result is known

I think it'll be worse than we can expect but not as bad as MSU hopes for.

I don't have a clue how it will come out. The whole charade had more leaks than the Titanic after hitting the ice berg at the beginning. But since the COI meeting, not a peep except for Finebaum's time watch.
One thing I remember is that the COI can continue to meet as a committee without the full group getting together. The outside attorney we hired did previously work for the NCAA. I think he carries more weight than the average bear. He was the one that told us to admit to whatever sins we had committed.
Having said all that, they could still be meeting about Leo's part and The Investigator's bias.
Who knows ? No one, especially Finebaum. We just have to wait to hear the outcome.
