Re: Jordan Sims working at center with 1st team

Once again Ole Miss has another position, center, where depth and talent are lacked.  Now who was the OL coach that should have recruited quality centers?  You can also blame Freeze, too, since he was the head coach and should spent his time managing affairs instead of running his mouth.

"managing affairs"...           He was sort of a flop at that, also.

I like him at C vs Patterson.  Move Pat back to where he belong.s

Re: Jordan Sims working at center with 1st team

Wasn't Rod Taylor working out at center in the spring?  I dont recall him being in the rotation there now.
As others have stated it won't matter what warm bodies we trot out there they are going to get abused the next two games by elite defensive line talent.  No threat of a running game allows defenders to pin their ears back to rush, db's to walk up and press cover shortening our route depths and options since there will not be any "space" as our d3 OC likes to call it.  The rush also shortens the time for Patterson to make reads.  Add in the center snap issues that disrupts the entire offfense timing and you get a couple of long days for us Rebel fans.
Let's just hope and pray our Admin is looking for a new Head Coach  as we speak.  We can weather this storm.  Honestly it may not be a bad thing as we have some coaches and players that need to be somewhere else.  Cleansing is good for the body and soul.   For the GOB's it has to hurt for them to be able to cope with, accept and support change.  That is the only way we will ever close the divide that has reopened in our fan base.
