Would a better strength and conditioning program reduce injuries that seem to pile up against Ole Miss?

AJ got hit both low and high - strength program wouldn't have prevented that. That low shot, he took a helmet to the knee.

Yes and the POS, #1, the linebacker was also called for two personal foul penalties, after that hit.  I appreciate the fact that he is a linebacker and I wish we had a linebacker that could cover and hit folks with the same enthusiasm as that guy did.  However, I think he was trying to put AJ out of the game.  He knew AJ had not caught the pass and followed through with the hit.  A J was airborne and vulnerable.  The guy took the shot at  AJ's knee and thigh area.  He accomplished what he was trying to do.

MD nailed it.  That guy was on a mission for sure.
Catfish injuries happen.  It is a very violent full contact sport played at high speeds where guys are essentially throwing their bodies at each other.  If anything a S&C coach only speeds up the contact by adding strength and speed to our players. I have no issues with our S&C coach.  I think he's a good one.   What we are missing is what other guys have posted previously and that is a Wobble type coach that will make our kids tough.   We have some, quite a few as it turns out, that don't like to hit people.  Those kids should have been ferreted out a couple of years ago but yet they remain.  So we have a group of kids who are averse to contact and easily injured.  No S&C coach can address that.  They do well in the weight room.  What you need is a coach that will demand them to be men and gtfo.
