I think that I will take a break from football for a while. Just check the scores on Sunday and fish and play golf on Saturdays until the fog clears a little later.

I'm considering doing the same. It was my hope the team would put a chip on their shoulders and take on a "us against the world" mentality. Apparently the coaches chose not to push that attitude on the players.
I'm still scratching my head wondering what the hell Luke was thinking last night.

I enjoy college football and will continue watching it -- but probably won't watch many Ole Miss games....team is no fun to watch and most of the NCAA/Freeze crap has soured the season. So I guess my break will be from Ole Miss specifically. Sure don't see myself making any trips to Oxford this year.

He's in over his head -- we probably should have seen a debacle coming the first game away from VH.

I posted in another thread but it bears repeating..... He wasn't thinking. You can't think clearly when you panic or are in quicksand over your head..... Here's a hint....watch him pace back and forth during the game....10 feet left....turn....ten feet right.....reload and repeat.....It's JMHO but he is nervous because he knows he doesn't have a clue as to what to do next.....so he paces like a caged animal in a cage....
I admired him as a player....he was gutsy. I vividly remember him playing hurt against state on basically 1 leg.....man that was awesome.....but that doesn't translate into coaching ability....it just doesn't sad to say.

I'm glad there's not a game next week. I need a break. I'll probably watch the first half of the Bama game just to see how bad we really are against a SEC team.

I'd almost rather just get it over with rather than have to wait 2 weeks dreading it.....
