This game looked eerily reminiscent to the last two games of last year. Laying aside the things we couldn't control (losing A. J., our center, and our kicker), we were not put in a position to win this game mentally or physically. I believe too many off the field distractions played a huge part for sure, but there are several other issues that I'm not sure can be corrected this year. Our 28 plays and lack of preparation surely done us in this week... In spite of our many challenges, I do believe we might have pulled it out had we not lost those specific players who were injured, but that's part of the game and you have to rise above it. In summary, if this game is an indication of our preparedness for the year, I'm afraid we're in for a very long and frustrating season... sigh....
