Cooley has also been suspended for violation of team rules.

If Simmons only got one game for beating a woman senseless, I'll take this.

His beating a girl senseless was deemed by many of the maroon morons as a 'Nobel' thing. He was protecting his sister. That is another major difference between Ole Miss of today and MSU. They (MSU) put a "positive" spin on EVERYTHING involving their program. We on the other hand, do nothing but 'give in and take it like a wimp'.

Here is an article on the Webster/Bing-Dukes Saga
Ole Miss' Ken Webster, Detric Bing-Dukes arrested for shoplifting
OXFORD - Two players who figured to be contributors to Ole Miss' defense were arrested Tuesday night.
Corner Ken Webster and linebacker Detric Bing-Dukes were arrested and charged with shoplifting, according to the Lafayette County Detention Center booking docket.
"We are gathering facts on the matter," Matt Luke said through a university spokesman. On Wednesday afternoon, Luke announced Webster and Bing-Dukes would be suspended for the season opener against South Alabama.
The arrests occurred at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday and were made by the Oxford Police Department. Webster and Bing-Dukes were released at 8 p.m. through Al Williams Bail Bonds.
In the 2016 opener, Webster suffered a major knee injury against Florida State, which sidelined him for the rest of the season. He started all 13 games at corner in 2015 and was expected to battle for a starting spot during camp.
Webster sat out spring practice to recover from his knee injury, but former coach Hugh Freeze said he'd be full go at SEC Media Days.
Bing-Dukes was named the most-improved defensive player of spring ball. He was shuffled in and out of the starting lineup last year, but held down a role at mike linebacker with the first-team defense this spring.
Redshirt freshman Donta Evans was listed as Bing-Dukes' backup on the preseason depth chart. True freshman Mohamed Sanogo is a logical option to compete at that spot during training camp too.
Webster was listed as a co-starter with sophomore Jaylon Jones. Myles Hartsfield is listed as the other starter at corner and drew constant praise from coaches this spring.

You would think as much as the NCAA seems to think we are paying our players they wouldn't need to be shoplifting.
