Re: New jerseys this year

Uniform month was July and we can thank the NCAA and Freeze for helping us not get bogged down with uniform arguments.

That's what they all want, for us to be MSU II.

Re: New jerseys this year

When you have the best looking uniforms in the nation......what IDIOT would want to alter them?  I could be in California and see our traditional uniforms on TV as I walked through an airport and KNOW it was Ole Miss.

Just goes to show that our identity and anything recognizable from the past is insignificant to some.....  I'm going to laugh my rear end off when the name Rebels and Ole Miss are deemed disposable.....

Piece by piece Ole Miss is being torn away. Some good and some bad but political correctness rules the day.

Re: New jerseys this year

In another decade the whole landscape of Ole Miss will have eroded even more than it has today.  The Ole Miss most of us knew has become an overpopulated mecca in a once sleepy little town.  Oxford is now a thriving community filled with nationally recognized companies who have corporate offices in remote regions of the country.  It will not be long before some politically correct person at Ole Miss pushes to get rid of the name "Rebels" and then "Ole Miss".  In time, Ole Miss will have little character and charisma.  Hopefully I am wrong, but with the PC crowd being a driving force, this scenario is a reality.

I didn't purchase season tickets for the first time in over 40 years.  When they take away Rebels and Ole Miss, that is when I wash my hands totally.
