A&M is gonna win it all. They should sweep us this weekend. I'm just glad this season is coming to an end. I'm anxious to see if we finally tell Mike he has to "retire".

Bianco should announce his retirement so he can bow out gracefully. This program has been embarrassingly bad since the CWS run. If I'm Keith, I'd look at someone like Oregon State's Canham as a replacement.

I watched the replay of the game. Matt looked pretty good at times. The INT he had wasn't his fault. He did look like he was forcing things at times, but that 40 yd TD pass was on the money. Hopefully he'll continue to do well and get another shot at the NFL.

Big series this weekend against Tennessee. Even though they lost 2/3 against Alabama, they are a very talented baseball team. Hoping out pitching can keep their offense in check and we manage to take that series. The team has been playing much better lately from what started off looking like a bleak season.

The biggest thing that I saw was that Saturday and Sunday, we held them to two runs during those two games. Opposed to giving up 7 runs on Friday. As far as hitting, we weren't facing good pitching, so hard to judge our offense and if they have gotten their heads out of their rears.
Seems that every single year, Bianco is constantly changing up the starting rotation and can't seem to figure out who the top 3 guys are. We're hosting Iowa this weekend, and they have a very good pitcher in Brody Brecht - so that'll be a good litmus test for us offensively. We've got a lot of guys under .200 (Luke Hill has looked really bad) that have got to step things up.

I wonder if Bianco will even make it through the season. This is easily the least talented team he's ever had. Zero pitching and zero hitting. College baseball is my second favorite sport, and it's frustrating to see how bad of shape this program is in. Hopefully Mike does the honorable thing and retires.

Good luck to Matt. You have to wonder what kind of personal issues he is having to keep him from playing in the NFL.
I was told a severe form of clinical depression.
I've heard the same. It is apparently something he's dealt with for a long time. Hopefully he's got it under control and this will give him the chance to make it back to the NFL if he thrives in this league.

Coach Yo needs to understand that sports are a business, and women's sports (unless they are a Top 5 team) aren't going to bring in a bunch of fans. The way she acted, sadly, was really unprofessional. I was actually gonna go to the TN game (2:00pm game on a Sunday for only $10/ticket), but decided against it with how she acted.
She's done a good job of bringing the program back from the dead, but someone needs to sit down with her and explain the business/financial side of things to her. She upset a lot of people with her idiotic rant and then she decided to double down on what she said on X (Twitter). Bad look for her.

Yea, Kiffin got tired of the game with Green. They were supposed to fly out to Georgia to meet at Green’s home with his family. I am sure Green figured it was a last chance to shake down OM to beat Colorado’s offer. Kiffin canceled the trip last night.
Lane knows better than most that negotiating is part of this transfer portal life now, but at some times you have a player that you just can’t trust after you have a deal. Ole Miss and Green had a deal when Green left Oxford last week. Then Green took the Colorado trip, re engaged with Washington and had a Miami assistant coach stop by his place in Georgia.

Thanks for that additional information. Love how Lane is handling things. If kids agree to an offer and then try to shake down Ole Miss for more money, Lane tells them to take a hike.
