Freeze would probably be a decent OC, but can you imagine the ammunition he has provided to coaches who would recruit against him?  Freeze ruined his own image and will have a tough time trying to rebuild it.  He will be the laughingstock of many jokes and the loser of recruiting battles due to his ability to lie and deceive.  There is a reason he is called "Snake".

Also, add to the fact that Ole Miss made a public apology to Houston Mutt.  Mutt's lawyer has run with this apology and is using it as ammunition to get Ole Miss transfers immediately eligible.  Ole Miss issued the following apology and some of the apology relates to statements made by none other than Hugh Freeze: 

Certain statements made by University employees in January 2016 appear to have contributed to misleading media reports about Coach Nutt. To the extent any such statements harmed Coach Nutt’s reputation, the University apologizes, as this was not the intent.The NCAA’s Notice of Allegations dated January 22, 2016, did not name or implicate Coach Nutt in any misconduct, and it would have been inappropriate for any University employee to suggest otherwise.

Now who assisted with orchestrating these statements in order to save face for the 2016 recruiting class and who made these statements to recruits?  Phone records, the same ones that would eventually get Freeze for allegedly ringing up escorts, showed that Rebels athletic director Ross Bjork, sports information director Kyle Campbell, and Hugh Freeze were the sources in question.
