Matt Luke - anyone know what his buyout is?
I was talking to a buddy and the subject of his buyout was brought up. I thought I had read somewhere that it was 65% of his remaining salary, but I have searched online and cannot find any information on his buyout.

I also heard 65% of his salary. Regardless you know the GOB ensured he got a sweet deal. Right now he is doubly overpaid and should only be making $1.5M.

I'm not defending him...
He's one of, if not the lowest paid coach in the SEC. His buyout is around 2 million if I recall. That's nothing in today's coaching world. Add to that, a 4 year max on his contract by state law and I would say we have not overpaid. Plus, it's not my money. Most of it comes from the Athletic Foundation and of those suckers want to pay him 10 million a year and burn their money, so be it.
