No spin on recruits Ole Miss is signing today....
I thought I would put into one post what I have read regarding a few of these “big fish” Ole Miss has jumping into our ship...No spin. Just facts with no sunshine pumping. We desperately need playmakers on defense especially at LB and our margin for error is nil.
Corral was dropped by his hometown dream team USC, commits to Florida out of the blue and Mullen tells him to go elsewhere after flying out to Cal to see him (shows interest) and Georgia backed off of him as well. Suddenly Ole Miss is where he is going to sign. Out of options maybe? That’s what the Rivals national guys said as they discussed the crazy journey to him signing with Ole Miss out of nowhere.
Elijah Moore was asked to enroll in February at Georgia (greyshirt). Yet we stole one? His response as to why he chose Ole Miss? “I was there when Freeze was fired and it seemed like Luke had everything under control. Everybody keep saying he’s a nice guy. They might not be winning many games but 500 yards passing sound good.”
Vernon Dasher was an NJCAA All American at Coffeyville CC yet only had offers from Kansas State and Ole Miss. I haven’t read anything yet but obviously other schools passed on him. We just dont know why yet....
Jackson Callaway DT James Williams. Ole Miss says we flipped him. State says they didn’t want him. The truth is going to be somewhere in the middle of that. He looks good on paper with the frame that can grow into a stud DL but I think he’s played most of his career at DE? The one national report comment I read that is concerning is “he could play with more aggression at the point of contact”.

I heard that Frank Gore is signing this morning. He arrived at his high school dressed in Red and Blue.

The sunshine pumpers are desperate for a 'win'....so all they glorify 3 stars as highly as Hugh's class with all the 5 stars..... They need something to validate their home boy hire.......in 3 years, when this class should be developed, the proof will be in the 'pudding'.....and it will show up in the number of wins...... History says that will mean we thump the patsies on the schedule and get our butts handed to us in SEC play.....Wash-rinse-repeat....over and over and over and over......but when your criteria and qualifications amount to how much does he love Ole Miss.....well the sunshine pumpers are happy and they grove will rock on......not so much wins much less championships.....or trips to Atlanta.....
He was panther quick and Leather tough.
If he figured that He'd been pushed enough.

I know many folks like to say they don't put much stock into players rankings, but there's a reason the best programs, year after year, are filled with a ton of 5 star recruits.

Merry Christmas to you Captain Sheeple. Enjoy your kool aid and I hope it helps ease the pain of the ass kickings we have coming when we run out these “high quality 3 stars” and “big time recruits we stole” from everyone else’s recycle bins against SEC opponents who have SEC players.
Seriously your spin is more in line with what the Ole Miss Sunshine Pumper Spirit offers. It’s quite impressive how the mind can see a pile of cow shit as a pile of gold actually.
FWIW I’m not sitting waiting on anything. I was out front of this bullshit hire when Luke was named Interim HC. He’s no less of a disaster today than he was then. No matter how much the sunshine pumper machine wants to promote his value to this program. Paper tigers...
I’m willing to take the heat for being honest with myself and our football program. For others its hard to admit you’ve been duped, lied to, misled, etc. but we all come to the same reality sooner or later. I won’t hold it against you because you believed in Unicorns and rainbows.

You never know how any signee will produce on the playing field until he gets in some games. Some of these signees might do well, others might not. I'll withhold judgement until they see some actual playing time.

State got the signatures of MS's #1, #2, #3, #4, and #5 ranked players. Pretty big contrast from years past with us getting the top MS talent.
