And please don’t starred in with me about being a part of the Luker fan club. My position during the coaching search was made clear in many posts that I didn’t want him as the coach because of the many years of underachievement he laid out on his resume. But this year during a crappy span he kept this team going and did what he needed to do and damn near came to win nine games this year. So after next year when most of the pain of the penalties are behind us, I Garen damn TU he will be reevaluated. But if he wins games when there’s not a whole lot of argument there. But we are at a position to where winning at least 8 to 9 games each year should be the expectation and And if that can be achieved he will remain the coach if not he is gone

I understand the direction you are trying to come from. But I can't agree with you. I bet you that Chad Morris, the guy at UAB, or Doeren at NC state would have come here. Those might not be the hottest names but they would have been actual HC material.
The ultimate flaw in your argument is that Luke's salary almost tripled to over $3 million. No reason whatsoever that $1.5 or $2 mil would have been sufficient to hire an Ole Miss man bc no one else would take the job. Especially after some of the headscratchers he pulled this year.
Maybe there isn't some shady group making decisions behind the scene but there is enough of a pattern of decisions to prove that we have crappy leaders and it's time to clean house from top to bottom and start over.

I don't get your argument. Coaches were submitting plans to Bjork wanting the job badly. Why do you keep trying to say that didn't happen?

Ole Miss will only move one when Luke and the rest of this corrupt faction are removed. That's how it works with cancer. It has to be cut out. No amount of salve is going to stop the cancer from spreading. That cancer is apathy, refusal to be competitive, refusal to be the best Ole Miss can be.
MOB you are the poster child for the WAOM segment and that is a cancer as well. Hope you find your way out of that sickening and debilitating mindset. The sad part is how that mindset is so consuming that you guys spread the narrative of mediocrity as if that is the best we can do. Again that's total horse shit.
The fly in your ointment was Freeze winning where we weren't supposed to win. Going toe to toe with the big boys of the SEC and winning. We were the hottest ticket in college football for a period of time. That is the success the rest of us demand and we will get there again once this corrupt cancer is removed from our program.
What is sad is your view of our program and how pathetic your expectations are. If you have low expectations you will always get them.
