Chad Morris to Arkansas
Chad Morris should be a decent hire. The Hogs certainly have the Rebels' number, so we shall see how Morris does in Fayetteville.

Well S*** It will be an interesting SECW in a couple of years. Morris can recruit Texas and has a National Rep also. He coached Jevan Snead, Chad Kelly, Deshaun Watson and was putting 40 a game out at SMU. QB's will be making their way to Fayetteville. It will be interesting to see who he hires for the Defense.
Luke and Longo better get ready.

Football Scoop reports that he is targeting Venables as DC. Don't know if he will get him, but huge if he does. Meanwhile, in Oxford, the Luke show continues. Ugh.

Great Hire! Was hoping OM would hire him. Ark can only be successful when the recruit the heck out of Texas. Bielema was terrible at it, Texas HS coaches didn't trust him.. Morris is a Texas HS coach at heart, a legend there and will be great at it. Now, he will not consistently beat LSU, OU and A&M for the Texas Super studs, but he will get his share.
Where this effects OM is Freeze and his staff did a great job in Texas. I see Morris and Ark getting in the way of that headed forward.
As far as Venables as DC. one thing i have learned about being around coaches all my life, you never know what motivates them to make a move. There is no rhyme or reason. When you are making the kind of money these guys are making, money is usually way down the list on reasons they decide to make a move.

Now Rock haven’t you heard? Ole Miss is going to focus on recruiting Mississippi first and then work their way out. If we can’t find 16-18 2* recruits in Mississippi we might be interested in some out of state juco kid. We are trying to build a sunbelt roster to match our sunbelt staff.

Example, Ark has signed 15 Texas kids in 5 years under Bielema. UNREAL
In those same 5 years OM has signed 13 Texas kids
Back during Nutt, Hatfield, etc Ark got 70-80% of their players from Texas
