Today I talked to a young friend of mine who was living in Oxford for her Freshman and Sophmore year while going to Northwest.  She really liked Oxford, but after completing her undergrad stuff, she wanted to get into Vet school.  Since Moo U has the only Vet School in the area, she moved to Starkville this Fall to start her Junior year.  She told me that she hated Starkville and almost went crazy being in that "dump of a town".  Because she could not bare living in Starkville, she dropped out of school at Moo U and is going back to Oxford to Ole Miss this January.  Her analogy of the two towns is unbiased because while growing up she did not spend much time in either town and did not have a preference on a school.
