So why is the Godfrey article and the tape coming out today?
Was someone just waiting for the announcement the sanctions were coming? Am I overthinking this? Just seems odd the day we hear the sanctions are coming is the same day all this stuff we've been hearing about so long is coming out.

I was wondering the same thing. Perhaps it was to not upset the COI by releasing details prior to their ruling?

Yes, apparently all the school sites were given information but told to sit on it until they get word from ncaa. Word was given, they all dropped their column.

Sounds like our admin wanted total silence as part of "cooperation". I think we should have blasted this stuff to ensure we got off light. Hopefully I'm wrong and we get nothing additional than self imposed. But I'm doubting that

It seems to me the "sources" may not be at Ole Miss. Maybe other people in that room talked but asked that nothing be released until the final sanctions were announced. Of course no national media was concerned enough to investigate - Ole Miss just needed to get hammered. Maybe now others will pick up from here and do some real investigating. Nah. That's asking way too much...
