Kelly to UCLA 5 years for $23 million
Seems cheap for him even though he has the NCAA history. He should do well at UCLA quickly as it seems like Mora did recruit very well while he was there.

UCLA is a coach's graveyard. They will lose and he will no longer be a sought-after coach. He should have taken the Florida job. At least when their coaches get fired, they tend to pick up gigs somewhere else.

The 49ers are making up the difference in his salary. He used the other money to pay his asst coaches more. Kelly has 2 years left on that 49ers deal for 12 million. so the next 2 years will be very cheap for UCLA. After that I am sure the contract will go up. I would think the UCLA contract is structured something like first 2 years at 2 million per year, next 3 years like 6 million a year. 49ers would have to pay 4 million a yer of his salary the first 2 years.

I think he will do very well at UCLA. They will become what USC was 10 years ago.
