FSU had a much weaker schedule than Alabama.  According to Sagarin Ratings, Alabama's SOS was 12th, and FSU's SOS was 61st.  Also, Alabama was 1-1 vs. Top 10 and 5-1 vs. Top 30, whereas FSU was 0-0 vs. Top 10 and 3-0 vs. Top 30.  Having an SEC in the Playoffs is good because you can almost be assured that many in the sports media did not want an SEC team to be in the Playoffs.

The entire deal is crooked as always. If the just picked the best 4 teams it would have been Michigan Alabama Georgia Washington

I agree FSU was jobbed. But if we are talking best 4 teams. You could put the committee members on a polygraph and they ones that know football would all agree with that 4


This tired old argument of head to head is just laughable.  When you play 4 months apart with different lineups. It is no comparison on which team is better 3 months later.  Texas has 5 different starters in its starting 22 today including their starting RB Brooks being out for weeks and the rest of the season. Alabama has a new defensive basically with new starters. On offense they had a new OC that it was his second game on Sept 9th.  Add if anyone says that Milroe hasn’t completely changed and figured out that offense since week two , they are just dishonest. They downplayed the Ohio St in 2014 were down to their 3rd string guy at wb in Jones and he made his first start in the Big 10 title game. They still  put Ohio State in the playoffs
