Been away from the site and team for a couple of years due to working in healthcare during Covid. Man I really hope we never have to go through anything like that again in our lifetime.

With how difficult our schedule is, we could have a very good team this year and the record at the end of the year might not reflect it.
vs Mercer - W
at Tulane - W
vs Georgia Tech - W
at Alabama - L
vs LSU - ?
vs Arkansas - W
at Auburn - W
vs Vandy - W
vs Texas A&M - ?
at Georgia - L
vs ULM - W
at State - W
I think the biggest key to this season is staying healthy and the LSU and A&M games. We could beat either team or lose to either (or both) of them.
Auburn will always be a big game. You just know Freeze wants that one very badly. We should win that one, but they could knock us off. I see the ceiling at 10-2 with the bottom at 7-5. Realistically, I'm thinking 8-4.
Last year we had two glaring issues:
1. Defense was simply not good for the 2nd half of the year. Can Golding provide a big transformation on that side of the ball?
2. Offense faltered in the red zone and in the 2nd half of games. I think this was due to lack of depth (seems to have been addressed) and not actually having a TE so being limited once we got towards the goal line (that seems to have been addressed as well).
If Dart makes a big jump from last year to this year (and reports indicate that he has shown a lot of improvement), and Golding's defense can be at least middle of the pack, then we have a shot at a very special season. Judkins needs to stay healthy, new receivers need to step up, and defense needs to play much better.
