    Good hire

    Ole Miss is expected to hire former Texas, Syracuse and USF offensive coordinator Sterlin Gilbert as an analyst, sources tell On3.

    Gilbert was also a head coach at McNeese State, where he led the team to a 7-5 record in 2019 prior to being hired as the offensive coordinator at Syracuse.

    Gilbert, who spent nearly a decade as a high school coach in Texas at the beginning of his coaching career, originally made the move to the college level in 2012 as the offensive coordinator at Eastern Illinois before stops as an offensive coordinator at Bowling Green, a co-offensive coordinator at Tulsa and at the

    Hopefully, this will be a good hire, and Kiffin can keep him on staff if he is productive.  It seems like Kiffin lacks a lot of continuity with his staff.  Time will tell!!!
