Long Overview of Recent Coaching Ordeal
This is a long read, but a good read. It appears Neal was an instigator and the other beat writers fanned the flames. You have to wonder why, when they had a chance at press conferences, none of the writers straight up asked Kiffin questions like, do you have an offer from Auburn, have you or your agent been in contact with Auburn, are you going to Auburn, etc.

Kiffin could have just said “I’m not leaving Ole Miss” and it all would have ended. He didn’t. And there was plenty of fire and smoke coming from Auburn. He needs to stop job hunting every year. Going to take a long time before I have any respect for him again. All the rest is just a lot of meaningless chatter. I’m no fan of McReady but let’s don’t pretend Kiffin was some kind of angel in this.

Thanks for sharing that. Interesting read. I do think Lane was being a bit coy. But, having said that, that kid from WCBI should be fired. I saw where Mrs Keenum tweeted him good job, so I have zero doubt he knew he was lying and trying to cause problems. That's some straight up Steve Robertson level garbage.

I think he was referring to Mrs. Keenum as wife of MSU president Dr. Greg Keenum
