SI.com is reporting that Lane is gone
This is brutal if true... Supposedly, he's stepping down Friday. If I'm Keith, I wouldn't let him coach on Thursday.

Kiffin could have stopped all the hearsay and said there is a lot of talks that I am going to Auburn. I appreciate their offer, but I am staying at Ole Miss. Instead, he dances around the issue and gives a very meaningless answer. He's gone and Rebel fans can only hope he does not raid the team via the portal or get the top recruits coming to Ole Miss. At this point, the Rebels could have to start over and will just have to remember the fun years.
