Very cool of him. My son was in the band in highschool and college, and I never really knew how much time they invest in their practices until I saw it firsthand. It's easy to say "band geek" and such, but those folks in the band really do work their butts off between the practices, games, and competitions.

The band is always there for the football team. They practice hard and put in many hours. It is good that Kiffin talked to the band to let them know how much he and the team appreciate them.
