My concerns about Luke. Can he recruit--especially defensive talent--at the level we need to move the program forward into the future? Does he have the connections to hire a really capable OC and DC? I don't know. There is an awful lot of smoke around that if Luke beats A&M and MSU, the job is his for the taking. 

Luke is a good guy, but he is not a good coach.  Unfortunately, Ole Miss tends to mostly make bad decisions, and hiring Luke as full time HC might not be a good choice, especially when other more qualified coaches are available. 

Look at other SEC schools who are filling coaching vacancies.  These schools appear to be focusing on quality candidates who have a good coaching background.  They want to focus on winning and success in their programs.

If Luke is hire, get ready for mediocre seasons with an occasional Ole Miss upset.  It is just hard to for most Ole Miss fans to realize that Ole Miss just does not seem to want to be a champion and a winner.  Hey, but don't forget, Ole Miss always wins the party!!!

Matt Luke will NOT be HC of Ole Miss next year, period.

Most likely, I'm not even close to guessing right. lol

I hope like heck ark hangs on to bert. I think they know the market is going to be tough this year when looking for a new coach.  They are way down the pecking order so adding their needs to a long list is going to be a crap shoot.  better to wait until next year IMO
